Who must be 18 years or older to check in?
The primary guest making the reservation, or at least one of the guests checking in, must be 18 years or above.

Are unmarried guests’ welcome?
Yes, all guests are warmly welcome at our resort. As per government guidelines, all guests aged 18 and above must present a valid original photo ID (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, or Voter ID) at the time of check-in.

Are children welcome?
Absolutely! Great Escapes Resort Munnar is a family-friendly resort. We have a kids’ play area, children’s menu, and open spaces for them to enjoy safely.

How many guests can stay in one room?
Our rooms comfortably accommodate 2 adults. We can arrange for 1 extra adult at ₹1,000 per night (including breakfast). Children below 12 years stay free with parents when sharing the existing bed. An extra bed for a child can be provided at ₹700 per night (including breakfast).

I am travelling alone — will I still be charged the same rate?
Some of our rooms can accommodate cribs or rollaway beds. There is a per night rental fee for all rollaway beds.

Is my ID required at check in?
We warmly welcome solo women travellers. Your safety and comfort are our priority. The resort has 24/7 on-site security, reliable transfer options, and a supportive staff ready to assist you at any time. I am a foreign traveller without an Indian ID. What documents will I need?
We request you to present a valid Passport and Visa at check-in. As required by law, we will also assist you in completing the mandatory C-Form submission to local authorities.

Yes, we do accept most international cards. Occasionally, some cards may not be accepted by our payment partner, so it’s best to have an alternative option available.

We are not authorized to exchange currency on-site. However, our team will be happy to guide you to an authorized exchange counter in Munnar town.

Yes. A booking advance is required to confirm your stay, and the remaining balance can be settled by cash, UPI, or card during check-in.
